Gretchen Price is a CIA-trained pastry chef with over 25 years in the professional baking industry who owned a bakery in New Jersey for a decade before selling it in late 2014. Since 2016 she has run Gretchen's Vegan Bakery, a blog and YouTube channel focused on plant-based baking that teaches the science behind veganizing classic pastry recipes. She is the author of the cookbook Modern Vegan Baking (2018), which features 125 sweet and savory recipes.
